Michael & Barry Goodman

Michael Goodman

Partner Lawyer

Mike has been representing victims of injustice since 1982. He has helped thousands of individuals and families who have suffered significant injuries and death from auto collisions, defective products, unsafe premises, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation. Mike also represents individuals fighting for their fair share of contested Wills and Trusts.
Mike believes it is his mission to level the playing field for those who have been injured through no fault of their own. Once Mike accepts a case, it will be investigated thoroughly and prepared for trial. Good settlements are made when the opponent knows your lawyer will stand up for you in court and help a jury understand your case. Mike has a long track record of courtroom success. Mike has built a successful law practice through the kind referrals of many satisfied clients. He strives to build a relationship with each of his clients through meetings, phone calls, texts, and emails. Clients always have Mike’s cell number. At our firm, clients are human beings, not just case files.
Mike obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1979 and his law degree from Emory University School of Law in 1982. Mike has the highest “AV” rating from Martindale Hubbell. He has been recognized by his peers as one of Georgia’s premier personal injury lawyers (Georgia Trend magazine). He is frequently sought out by other attorneys to serve as litigation counsel on their cases.

Mike is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in numerous state and federal courts in Georgia, including the Georgia Supreme Court. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association.

Mike is an active member of the community. Since 1999, he has served as a Trustee of the Cobb Hospital Authority, the governmental body responsible for oversight of the operations of Wellstar Cobb Hospital.
